Coastline Rocks Study

CA$225.00

Oil on canvas board
8” x 10”
Comes in the frame pictured.

This thick palette knife study of the rocks along the coast near New Slains Castle was an experiment in saying more with less. The scene comes together in just a few swipes to bring rocks forth from water and grow grass on the seaside cliff.

The Scotland Collection is an ongoing body of work that draws visual reference from a road trip my wife and I took through Scotland in spring of 2023. It is inspired by queer ancestry and what their lives might have been like, imbued with my personal experiences of love, friendship, and queerness. Read more here.
